owner Ben Riggs great-great-grandfather
John “The Gaffer” Riggs. The word ‘Gaffer’
meaning old man. This wine contains aromas of blackcurrant,
rose with vanilla and cherry wood flavors on the palate.The wine
is fruit-driven and well balanced.
The winery has been awarded five-red star by James Halliday
and has the reputation of sourcing fruits from the best vineyards located in the
most iconic wine regions of Australia, be it McLaren Vale, Coonawarra, or Clare Valley.
