Stonier Wines is located in Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.It has been awarded 5-red star by James Halliday. It was established in 1978 and the planting of
Pinot Noir vines began in 1982. The winery from the beginning is focused on producing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Wines. The first Pinot Noir wine was
released in 1986. The winery won the trophy for Best Pinot Noir at Adelaide Wine Show 1994 for
its 1993 Stonier Reserve Pinot Noir.
Stonier wines have been organizing SIPNOT or the Stonier International Pinot Noir Tasting for the past 18 years which is a blind tasting event with James Halliday as one of the 3 panel member, where 12 Pinot Noir wines from around the world are selected and judges award the best.
